Along with many small independent high street businesses, we find ourselves increasingly and unsuccessfully competing against large corporate chains and online sellers. This, coupled with the recent financial budgetary pressures implemented by the Government which has affected so many small businesses, has meant we have taken the sad and difficult decision to close COWPER’S MOBILITY CENTRE at the end of April.

We want to thank our wonderful customers for their custom over the past 11 years and hope you will support our closing down sale, where you will be able to pick up lots of great bargains!

We want to reassure Penrith and the Eden Valley that COWPER’S CHEMIST, King Street WILL CONTINUE AS NORMAL, as it has done since 1899!

Rather than go to the expense of a new bathroom, a quick, easy and safe way of assisting you into the bath is with a Bellavita Bath lift. 

The bath lift works with a rechargeable handset to ease you down into the water and return you to to the top. Indicator lights signal when charging is required and built in safety feature prevents bath lift from lowering without sufficient charge to return it to top of bath. Can support up to 22st.
